Farm to Table Gardening Program
Buckley Gardens will be a regular part of the camp schedule for Junior Camp and Intermediate Camp. The campers will visit the gardens to plant, weed and eventually harvest for use in our Culinary Arts Program.
Benefits of the Farm to Table Experience Include:
- Helps teach campers where their food comes from and how it fuels their bodies.
- Gives Hands-On nutritional education.
- Campers develop new skills and learn about science and nature from growing their own food all while having fun.
- Learning about the environment and making healthy choices.
