Dear Buckley families,
Camp has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I attended day camp every year of my childhood through my teenage years and I can say with confidence that I am the person I am today because of my wonderful experiences at day camp. Before joining the Buckley family, I worked at camps throughout the local area, holding positions from counselor to group leader to division head to director. I also spent seven years teaching PreK. This diverse experience has allowed me to hone my leadership skills and develop a deep understanding of the camp industry and the children we serve. I have had the privilege of being part of the Buckley camp community for the past ten years, and it’s an honor to take on the role of acting director. I have seen firsthand the transformative power of a positive camp experience, and I am deeply committed to upholding the values and traditions that make Buckley so special to me and to each of you.
My goal is to ensure that the camp experience is both fun and meaningful for each child, and I am excited to bring new energy and ideas to our program. I look forward to working closely with our exceptional camp team and maintaining the high standards that you have come to expect from Buckley. We will continue to provide the quality experience that has made our camp a home away from home for so many campers.
