Swimming is an Essential Life Skill

Buckley's swimming program is a prime example of what makes us special. Our superb, seasoned aquatic staff are all American-Red-Cross Lifeguard and CPR for the Professional Rescuer certified, as well as Nassau County Lifeguard Certified.

• Campers become great swimmers because of the expert instruction in the Red-Cross Learn-to-Swim Program.
• Small camper-to-instructor ratios.
• Age-appropriate facilities. 
• Daily instructional swim period for all campers in Nursery-7th grade. 
• Campers in K-1st grade also have a scheduled free swim each day and those in 2nd-10th have the option to have a free swim each afternoon. 

Buckley's aquatics facility includes four heated swimming pools and an exciting water playground to ensure a fun and safe experience for all.
